"Younger" Season 2 spoilers and updates have been scarce but it didn't stop the fans to crave for more. While the previous episodes showed how 40-year-old Liza (Sutton Foster) struggled to keep up with her charade as a 26-year-old assistant, the upcoming episodes will be more interesting as some notable guest stars make their appearances.

Based on "Younger" Season 2 recap by Entertainment Weekly, Liza's bff Kelsey (Hilary Duff) had been enthusiastic about her promotion as editor-in-chief. But because of this, Liza missed another chance to reveal her secret to her friend.

Liza's deceitful scheme is also taking a toll on her relationship with Josh (Nico Tortorella). In fact, Josh told her that he needed more time to "wrap his head around it." While the couple decided a temporary cool off, Liza appeared to have caught the attention of Charles (Peter Hermann).

Charles also complimented her for helping Kelsey on her speech during the Millennial Print launch party. Unfortunately, things got a little awkward when Josh arrived at the party to support his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, as things heat up in "Younger" Season 2, here are 3 latest scoops about TV Land's comedy-drama series.

1. Matthew Morrison's mysterious character.

As previously reported, TV Land had announced during the Television Critics Association press tour earlier this month that the show will feature a wide variety of celebrity guest stars including "Glee" alum Matthew Morrison. And according to Fashion & Style, he will play a reclusive author who lives on a farm.

The site also suggested that Morrison's character could be a possible love interest for Liza. As a matter of fact, "Younger" Season 2 sneak peek, which was posted on the series' Facebook page, showed the kissing scene between him and Liza.

2. Guest Stars

Fans already saw the cameo appearance of celebrity chef Bobby Flay. But there are still several guest appearances to watch out including "Law & Order: SVU" star Ice-T, author Jennifer Weiner, Camryn Manheim, Kathy Najimy, Josh Pais, Martha Plimpton, Michael Urie and many more, Mashable revealed.

3. "Younger" Season 3

Despite the fact that the series has just premiered three weeks ago, TV Land has announced that the show has been renewed for a 12-episode Season 3. The announcement actually came a week before its Season 2 premiere.

"'Younger' was a critical success and fan favorite right out of the gate, and Darren Star and his team of writers have brought an even sexier, shocking sophomore season to the table," TV Land's Development and Original Programming Executive Vice President Keith Cox said. "We're thrilled with the show and what it's done for the network, and we're so confident."

Meanwhile, "Younger" Season 2 star Nico Tortorella recently opened up about his exes, cheating and why he's considering Botox. In his interview with Cosmopolitan, the 27-year-old actor admitted that he plays love interest to many as well as his relationship with a 33-year-old woman when he was 19.
