Fans of "The Originals" will see a darker side of Cami (Leah Pipes) now that she has become a vampire in Friday's all-new episode, entitled "Wild At Heart."

Viewers were left to wonder if Cami was really murdered by Aurora (Rebecca Breeds) during the winter finale. However, the midseason premiere revealed that Aurora actually turned her into a vampire by having her drink sire's blood before she slit her own throat. Fans also said goodbye to Jackson (Nathan Parsons) when Tristan (Oliver Ackland) ripped his heart out last week.

A promo video for the upcoming episode teases that viewers will see Cami loss her humanity, now that the therapist has been turned into a vampire. The situation may be especially dire because she is particularly influenced by Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who is known for causing pain and destruction.

During a recent interview with TV Guide, executive producer Michael Narducci opened up about the midseason premiere and Cami's shocking transition into a vampire.

"Everybody went into the episode thinking, 'Gosh, I hope Cami is not dead' and not expecting that they would have to worry about one of their other favorite characters not making it through the episode. Even in the midst of life we are in the midst of death," Narducci explained. "It's going to get worse before it gets better."

The EP went on to tease the changes Cami will endure. She will suffer severe consequences from her transition that will also affect the people around her.

"She's going to swing in the way of her impulses and embracing the new found power that she has...She might be more inclined to take what she wants because she can. She might be less inclined to be afraid of the people that are stronger than her because she's going to have power," Narducci said. "She's always been crafty and cunning, and she will continue to do so. There are enemies out there and she's going to want to deal with them and not play any kind of victim card, but be a little more physical."

The showrunner also hinted that Klaus and Cami may negatively influence each other now that she has lost her humanity.

"There's a chance that this path might bring out the worst in both of them," Narducci teased.

Meanwhile, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will have to cope with the tragic loss of her husband after watching him get killed by Tristan. In addition to dealing with her grief, she will also feel somewhat guilty about his death, since she brought him into the Mikaelson's family drama. In addition, she will seek vengeance against his killer.

"Ultimately, once the dust settles and she manages to be through with her grieving, a pretty definitive and harsh response on her part to get back at those who are responsible for what you saw," the EP said.

Fans can also expect to see "the return of some people" along with "great moments of hope and romance and love and even forgiveness," Narducci added. "Then we'll see some really tragic moments that will shake, particularly, Klaus to his core. I think the finale will be heartbreaking as tragic, as our finales tend to be."

According to CarterMatt, a synopsis for the upcoming episode reads as follows:

"While Klaus finds himself dealing with pressing matters at home, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) reluctantly aligns with Aya (guest star Tracy Ifeachor) after learning that she may have knowledge of an elusive weapon that could kill an Original vampire for good. Meanwhile, alone and shunned by her coven of witches, a desperate Davina (Danielle Campbell) is left conflicted after she is approached with an enticing offer that could bring her one step closer to reuniting with Kol."

Episode 11, Season 3 of "The Originals," titled "Wild At Heart," will air on Friday, Feb. 5 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
