"Dance Moms" is never short of drama, but the excitement seems to be non-stop in season six. Amid legal drama and conflict with dancers and mothers, television star Abby Lee Miller has some choice words about the producers behind the successful Lifetime reality show. Plus, her favorite dancer Maddie Ziegler seems to be poised to leave "Dance Moms" to pursue opportunities for acting and modeling.

According to a report from In Touch Weekly via Radar Online, the 49-year-old dance coach slammed the the executives behind "Dance Moms" team for reasons she elaborated on during the interview.

"Most of my beefs are with the producers anyways," Miller explained. "Because I don't get any creative credit."

She added, "These producers know nothing about dance, they've never been to a dance competition before this show. They give us this horrible music, these cockamamy, asinine themes, and I have to make it work."

In the report, the coach also dished a few details behind her legal troubles. While she was unable to speak about the case specifically, Miller did explain the reason why she filed for bankruptcy.

"In 2010 I got slapped with a notice saying I was losing my dance studio, which was my livelihood," she said. "Filing for bankruptcy was the only thing I could think of to do in that moment."

The reality star is accused of bankruptcy fraud and is now setting her pretrial motions. If guilty, Miller could spend up to five years in jail, plus shell out $5 million in fines.

In other "Dance Moms" news, rising star Ziegler is expected to exit the show after season six along with her family, according to a report from ET Online. A source reportedly told the news outlet that Ziegler's mother Melissa Gisoni has revealed their plans to the cast, saying that they are not going to return to the hit Lifetime show after the ongoing season.

The 13-year-old Ziegler is in the show with Gisoni and her sister 11-year-old Mackenzie. However, the past few years have opened up numerous opportunities for the talented young dancer including a starring role in the film "Sister", which is directed by her friend and collaborator Sia.

In an interview with ET Online last September, Ziegler confided about her plans to explore her talents beyond dancing saying, "I definitely want to be moving more into acting. Still keeping up my dancing, but also [do] movies and scripted TV shows."
