After shocking fanboys Monday with a teaser picture of the new Batmobile under a tarp, filmmaker Zack Snyder kept to his word Tuesday and unveiled the first official look at Batman's ride in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel.

In his Monday post to his Twitter account, Snyder wrote "Could be time to pull the tarp... Tomorrow?" while accompanied with a photo that appeared to be taken in a warehouse with the Batmobile parked and covered.

The only part that was visible were the vehicle's set of large rear wheels that looked similar to Christopher Nolan's Tumbler in the "Dark Knight Trilogy."

Snyder's Batmobile, however, was a return to the traditional styles of the famous vehicle with a sleeker, low-to-the-ground look similar to a sports car.

Anticipating fans also got another treat Tuesday as Snyder posted not only a better look of the new Batmobile but Batman in his new suit standing alongside it as well.

"I shot this with my @Leica_Camera M Monochrom," Snyder wrote with the photo.

It is unknown whether Ben Affleck, who is playing Batman in the film, is in the suit or not, but it shows off a muscular body and sports the new Batman logo on the front.

The new suit's small horns are different from previous big screen adaptations but are reminiscent of Frank Miller and Klaus Janson's rendition of the Caped Crusader in the legendary story "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns."

While most of Snyder's Twitter followers responded positively to the reveal of the new suit and vehicle, one person begged the director to unveil the new Wonder Woman suit.

Since the announcements that Affleck and Gal Gadot would be playing Batman and Wonder Woman, respectively, fanboys have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the new suits.

A few months ago, Affleck and Snyder's close friend and filmmaker Kevin Smith raved about the new Batsuit as he had gotten a look at it before many others.

Henry Cavill's new Superman suit is also expected to have some minor changes done to it, costume designer Michael Wilkinson has recently stated.

The tentatively titled "Batman Vs. Superman" is due out on May 6, 2016.
