The British actor and Star Wars veteran Warwick Davis has appeared in three Star Wars films, including Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace and The Force Awakens. It seems that Wicket the Ewok has confirmed his role and all ready for this year's spin-off entry, Rogue One.

Davis is well known for his role as the title character in the 1988 fantasy film titled Willow. As for Star Wars, Davis has confirmed that he has a role in the upcoming film, as per Slash Film Davis stated by saying "Yes I have a role and that is all I can say for now."

It is no surprise that it is all what he could say. But looking forward to the role, we don't know exactly what will Davis be featured as. He might just have a small role in the movie and the character he plays might not feature his real face.

With all the characters he has played like professor Filius and Griphook in the Harry Potter films, it surely seems that Davis is most excited about Star Wars. He has loved the series from the start and always enjoyed them. A small screen time would not be a problem for him after all.

It seems unlikely that he will be playing an Ewok, since for the upcoming Star Wars: Rogue One film, Davis plays the new space monkey character. It already seems to be turning out into a fan favorite, it sure looks like Davis is not leaving the galaxy anytime soon as stated on Screen Crush.

The Star Wars series is definitely worth the wait for its fans. With new characters, plots and twists, it is sure to be a surprising story and it is the characters like Davis that makes the film complete. It is still unclear as to what will he be playing exactly there might be changes later on, But for now it is confirmed that there is going to be a comeback for Davis
