The new "Van Helsing" movie is in the making and it is going to have a new approach from the classic Vampire hunter storyline. It appears that the hunter will encounter the creatures of the dark in modern times.

Jon Spaihts is said to be the writer of the new film, well known for his writing with Marvel's "Doctor Strange" and the Sci-Fi thriller Prometheus he is expected to bring a new loom to the film as stated by Movie News Guide.

The 2004 film starred Huge Jackman and Kate Beckinsale, the pair has been rewarded for their roles in the film. But for this upcoming remake it is certain that there will be no 19th century vampire hunter. There is a huge leap from two centuries, portraying the 21st century vampire is not that easy as it seems.

According to EnStars, the film is already in its early stages of production, to fit along with the modern era Jon is creating the story in which he would restate the character of Van Helsing. It certainly is a huge load of responsibility, but with his experience with Doctor Strange he has already captured a large amount of fans.

The American screenwriter revealed that the remake will consist of a "romantic departure", he also further stated that there will be a large amount of action and adventure in the film.

There have been a few hits of the change in the character in Van Helsing, reports stated that the character will have all the information on all the creatures of the night. This will make Val Helsing one step ahead and he may have some gadgets that stores the data of all the monsters that roam the streets.

It is said that Eric Heisserer is also along with Jon to co-write the screenplay for the films. The combination is expected to surprising as each one will have their own inputs of how the film should be produced. It seems that Huge Jackman has a busy schedule for the next few months.
