Mario Chalmers, one of the Memphis Grizzlies's most competent point guards, is now under the spotlight over issues concerning his desire to change teams. Rumors are widely spreading that the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to recruit Chalmers in December to team up with LeBron James.

According to Chatt Sports Net, Chalmers took a long rest due to his Achilles tendon injury. The Cavs currently has no point guard who's as efficient as Mario. The team has felt Matthew Dellavedova's absence denied their players of a proper back-up.

GameNGuide reported that Chalmers could be the next ex-Miami Heat player to join the Cavs after LeBron James. His arrival to the Grizzlies strengthened the team. At the same time, the Grizzlies' manager is worried about Lebron's plans to lure Chalmers to the Cavs on a lucrative offer.

Cleveland Cavaliers currently has no point guard who is as efficient as Chalmers. The team has felt the absence of Matthew Dellavedova, who served as a strong back-up to the rest of the team. Recently his departure from the team to join the Milwaukee Bucks has been seen as a threat that can endanger the integrity of the Cavs' to a significant extent. Rumors suggest that the decision of the Cavs' management to select Chalmers revolves around the player's perceived ability to empower his teammates towards victory.

In case Mario admits that he will be a part of Cleveland, maybe Memphis supporters will be in a chaotic state. But until now, media associates and journalists have yet to issue any positive feedback from Mario, who is still on leave for health reasons.

Whatever takes place, the Cavs' interest towards Chalmers signifies their intent to rebuild to sustain their hold on the NBA Championship, which they won last season. Chalmers is set to add greater mobility to the Cavs' performance.
