There are reports which claim that the battery life of iPhone 6s has a defect. On the other hand, source says that Apple is preparing a diagnostic tool in the new iOS Update as this issue with iPhone 6s is expanding.

According to MacRumors, after some days as Apple has issued a message on its Chinese website about its battery shutdown issue which have bothered iPhone 6s users, there was another message found in the said website.

The updates emphasizes that the main reason for the said issue- some batteries were exposed to "controlled ambient air" during the manufacturing. Also, the company is expanding the scope of the affected range of customers facing this similar issue.

Moreover, the original message of Apple company noted that there were only small numbers of iPhone 6s smartphones which were made in September and October of 2015 have been facing unexpected shutdowns. Again, this was said to be due to the exposure from the controlled ambivalent air. At present, Apple has also mentioned in some reports that there are few customers who are already said to be outside of the affected range. These customers were also facing unexpected shutdowns of their iPhone 6s devices.

On the other hand, these reported unexpected shutdowns can occur under normal conditions in order for the said device to protect its electronics. Through these scenarios, the Apple company will be having an additional diagnostic capability in an iOS software update. This was noted to be available next week. As this diagnostic tool will be available, Apple can definitely gather information over the coming weeks which can help manage the current issue. The battery performance will be enhanced and shutdown of the device will not occur as they try to see the root of the problem.

Meanwhile as reported in TechNewsDir, Apple has done a good step for the people who are using iPhone 6s and worrying if they are also affected. Apple just released a fix software for the last thirty days period for a cost-free battery replacements. Apple iPhone 6s which are created between September and October 2016 will be included in this software.
