Apple, Google, and Microsoft have reportedly tap LG for foldable OLED displays. That means future- generation iPhone 8 is heavily being rumored to include a curved display that will be manufactured by LG Display.

According to TECH TIMES, looking further to 2018, it seems that Apple, Google, and Microsoft could join the flexible Smartphone screen party and launch their own foldable Smartphones with OLED displays from LG.

As per the recent report indicate that Samsung is planning for its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 screen design device, which is set to launch next year.

According to HOT HARDWARE, LG is reportedly supplying flexible OLED displays in 2018. So the 2017 iPhone 7s or 8 would not be the one to get it. But the recent report indicates that the iPhone 8 would be spot a curved OLED display, which would make a smooth transition toward an iPhone with a flexible OLED screen in 2018.

A curved iPhone wouldn't just look good. This could feel good to hold and a nice way to dress up a high-end model and help justify the high price tags.

LG has started a number of curved and foldable display prototypes in recent years, including screens with book-like designs or increased flexibility that allows the device to look like newspapers.

 Apple iPhone is not only the line of foldable OLED screen, news that is coming to Google and Microsoft have similar Smartphone plans are a bit more unexpected.

Google is looking to get flexible OLED displays from LG for Google Pixel Smartphone's, while Microsoft is planning this new technology for its surface Smartphone.

According to a News report, LG flexible displays are reportedly designed for flexible devices, with the screen stretching over the outer surface. LG display will make direct competition with Samsung in screen design area.
