After being off in the air for almost a year, Noah Hawley's crime series "Fargo" finally has a returned date. Last month, during the TCA, FX still have second thoughts whether the show will come back in April or on May. Up to date, finally, FX decided to choose April.

The newest installment of the "true crime" series of Noah Hawley is set to dominate again the household screen on April. "Fargo" is still in production in Calgary and the Season 3 is set to feature again Carrie Coon, David Thewlis, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Also, Ewan McGregor as Emmitt and Ray Stussy, and pot-bellied officer.

Carrie Coon will be the new local police chief, Gloria Burgle, who is a divorced mother. Mary Winstead will be playing Ray's girlfriend, Nikki, and "Harry Potter's" Davil Thewlis will portraying the capitalist V.M Vargas, IGN has reported.

The plot of Season 3 in "Fargo" will set in the year of 2010, making it more contemporary installment of the drama anthology that greatly inspired by Joel and Ethan Coen films. According to Warren Littlefield, the executive producer of the show stated the little bit approach of Hawley in the Season 3.

Littlefield stated that Noah is now enjoying the technology that totally connects people but somehow in a different approach. EP talks a little bit about the upcoming scene of Carrie, where she's on a plane and everyone had their heads down looking at their phone, no one is communicating.

Variety said that EP further teases the fans that Hawley is going to have a lot of fun embracing the new modern tech world. Meanwhile, Ewan McGregor will play a duo character of Emmit who is a parking lot king in Minnesota and Ray who is stuck in the shadow of his brother.

FX follows that rivalry and twisted path that begins with petty theft but eventually soon leads to murders, mobsters, and more cut-throat competitive bridge. Hawley's crime anthology drama already won 5 times in Emmy Awards. "Fargo" Season 3 will debut on April 19, Wednesday at 10 p.m on FX.
