"Deadpool 2" and "New Mutants" came in headlines with some new updates when Producer Simon Kinberg shared some news about the movies. According to him, both the movies will enter production somewhere in the year 2017 and they are planning to release it in late 2018.

Josh Boone who directed "Fault in our stars" will be seen directing "New Mutants". But as of now, the whole team is waiting for a new draft of the script. On the other hand, David Leitch who directed "John Wick" will be seen directing "Deadpool 2" this time.

According to ComicBook, "Deadpool 2" productions date could be pushed back. Kinberg reported that the production team of "Deadpool 2" are nearly done with the script. And now they will work on the casting process for some new characters which they are planning to insert in the movie. For "Deadpool 2" Cable and Domino will set their debut whereas for "New Mutant" there is an entire cast of characters, for example, Any-Taylor Joy as Magik, Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane and Natt Wolff as Cannonball.

But as of now they still have not decided whom to take other than the big characters. They are planning to wrap up the whole pre-production process within a couple of months so that the movie can go on the floor within the month of June. A lot of new and known cast will be seen in "New Mutants." The producer even mentioned that familiar faces will reappear. And the only motive behind bringing back the old cast is to connect the main X-Men timeline with the new one as said by Collider.

The year 2017 will not see any other superhero movies from Fox other than "Logan". So for 2018, Fox is having great hopes from both the movies. Stay tuned for more "Deadpool 2" and "New Mutant" updates.
