Frustrations in sports can sometimes get the best out of a player. A recent example of this was during Monday's game between the Washington Wizards and the Utah Jazz, where the latter won 102-92.

The Wizards were getting beaten really soundly by the Jazz. Wizards forward Markieff Morris then drew his sixth and final personal foul, as well as receiving his second technical foul followed by an automatic ejection after throwing the ball at the referee and bounced into the stands on Sunday.

His early exit will cost him, as the NBA has just released their assessment to Morris' actions during that game. According to NBA.com, Washington Wizards forward Markieff Morris has been fined $25,000 for allegedly throwing the basketball at a game official and into the spectator stands; this update was just announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, the NBA's Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations.

The incident which caused Morris to be assessed with a technical foul and be ejected occurred directly after Morris had fouled out with less than 7 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of the Wizards' 102-92 loss at home to the Utah Jazz on Monday at the Verizon Center. The way a player throws the ball back to the referee can be tricky. If the ref deems that the pass was too hot or off target, he can immediately call a technical foul.

According to NBC Sports, Morris' bounce pass didn't appear to be crossing any lines, but the Wizards forward didn't complain about the technical foul call. He was, perhaps, just ready to be done and gone with that lopsided game.

However, Morris' apparent acceptance of the technical foul has set the stage for the greater punishment of getting fined. Morris has yet to make any statement regarding the NBA's decision to fine him.
