As Dwyane Wade watches the Chicago Bulls front office try and figure out the direction that the team wants to go in the future, the 35-year-old star says that he just wants to focus the things that he can control, which is his own personal play on the court, and just leaves the decision-making to the team executives.

"I just wanna play basketball, man," Wade said in an interview right before Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns, which is going to be his first game in two weeks of absence after sitting out because of a bruised wrist and an illness and the injury. "I would definitely do my best job as a player, that I can do, then from there, let them look at me and the talent that I bring to the table, and what I did, and let me look where the team is and let's go from there."

According to ESPN, Wade's comments came just a day after the Bulls traded away longtime Bulls player Taj Gibson and role player Doug McDermott to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Wade also chuckled at the notion that the Bulls made themselves worse in the short term.

According to The Chicago Tribune, Bulls executives Gar Forman and John Paxson made it clear that they wanted to make the roster younger in the wake of the trade that brought in Cameron Payne, Joffrey Lauvergne and Anthony Morrow to the Bulls. After picking up a 35-year-old Wade in the off-season, and then deciding to go young, it seems that Bulls' truly are lost with what they want to happen moving forward.

With all of these being said, let's just hope that everything will go well for these star players. Rest assured, that they'll do their very best in bringing out their superb talent in the sport.
