National Pi Day was another huge success. A number of food outlets participated in the annual event this year and pies ranged from pizzas, fruit pies and even cocktail pies. Pi Day was celebrated across the country and establishments like Hungry Howie's, Pj Pizzeria, Bojangles and Conrad New York among others, joined in.

Hungry Howie's had a yummy way to celebrate National Pi Day. The food chain offered customers one medium topping pizza for only $3.14 with any purchase of Howie Bread. All Hungry Howie's, besides stores in Florida, offered the Pi Day deal. Bojangles offered three sweet potato pies for only $3.14; this deal was available in all outlets all over the county, Fox News reported.

Posh Conrad New York made customers sip their pies with Key Lime Pie Martini to celebrate National Pi Day. The unique drink was available at Atrio, the luxury hotel's wine bar and it is made with vanilla vodka, a dash of lime, cream, fruit syrup and served in a Graham Cracker rimmed glass.

Meanwhile, ABC News also has the scoop on National Pi Day. Blaze Pizza offered all its pizza varieties for $3.14. This deal was available in all Blaze Pizza's 180 outlets nationwide. Dominos gave away their large-three topping pizzas available for carry -out for only $7.99 while customers can choose two select items for $5.99 each. Papa John's Pizza customers enjoyed their two-topping large pan pizza for only $9.99.

10Below gave the first 314 customers at their 10Below Ice Cream in NY a limited edition pie-infused ice cream; a sweet and freezing way to celebrate National Pi Day. Veteran Pi Day participant Pizza Hut offered a large two-topping pizza for only $7.99. This deal only applies for online orders but will be available for the whole month of March.

National Pi Day is from the geometric symbol π which is the ratio of a circle's circumference according to its diameter, 3.1416 or 3.14. The month of March which is the third month, and 14th day of the month makes Pi Day or 3.14. Pi has became more than just a mathematical symbol but also a sign to eat great food for less.
