Just a day after his frequent collaborator DJ Khaled made his appearance on ESPN's "First Take," Lil Wayne also stopped by at the program's set on Wednesday morning, June 11, to weigh in on the NBA finals.

The Miami Heat lost 111-92 to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 at home on June 10. The hosts, Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless, and DJ Khaled expected the Heat to win Game 3. However, the Young Money Rapper claimed that he already knew the Spurs would win. "It's the influence Pop have on the team," he said of Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich. "They have like one of the rarest teams in the league that actually still listen to the coach."

At Tuesday's game, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade both scored 22 points. Mario Chalmers started at point guard for all three games and scored three, five and two points in each match. "If (Chalmers) ain't showing up that he's not ready to play like he's been showing, he has to sit down," Weezy said. Also, James had an inconsistent series, as he left Game 1 in the fourth quarter with cramps, scored 35 points in a Game 2 victory but had a not-so-impressive Game 3, going 9-of-14.

Wayne continued by doing a recap of the dispirited performances from point guards Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers and discussed how center Chris Bosh taking less than five shots was the main reason for the Heatles' loss. "Last night was obviously. ... It was something I probably would never see again," he said. "LeBron has a killer instinct, but it's off and on."

However, although Lil Wayne is a known Lakers fan, he predicted that the Miami Heat will be able to overcome and eventually take the third consecutive victory of the NBA Championship in seven games.
