Damar Hamlin Injury

Hamlin collapsed during a Bills-Bengals game. Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins rammed with the Bills' safety hitting him in the chest and head.

Medical personnel on the field administered CPR and used an AED to get Hamlin's heart beating again.

Amid reports of Hamlin's injury, the NFL has denied giving the Bills and Bengals just five minutes to warm up.

ESPN and lead "Monday Night Football" broadcaster Joe Buck claimed on air that the teams would have five minutes to warm up and resume play.

ESPN said in a statement that there was constant communication in real time between them and the NFL and game officials, explaining that they reported what they were told at the moment and immediately updated fans.

Meanwhile, NFL executive Troy Vincent shot down the notion and even called the claims "ridiculous" and "insensitive."

Vincent said that the only thing they asked was that the referee communicates with both head coaches to ensure they had proper time inside the locker room.

The NFL executive added that he was not sure "where that came from."
