Marvel actor Jonathan Majors is getting investigated for domestic violence after he allegedly beat up his girlfriend. Now, his alleged victim is getting a temporary protection order.

The protection order was announced on Thursday, before the case's scheduled May 9 court date where the "Creed III" actor is facing assault and harassment charges. He has since maintained his innocence and maintained that he was the one who was assaulted that night.

However, the protection order is common in cases such as this, as Majors' lawyer stated to CBS News, "This is standard in cases such as this, and we consented because Mr. Majors wants nothing to do with the woman who assaulted him."

The lawyer added that the actor and his legal team have so far been "transparent and cooperative" with the district attorney.

It was pointed out that the temporary protection order only means that neither him nor his alleged victim may legally have any direct or third-party contact. This protection order will remain in effect until their scheduled court date next month.

Jonathan Majors' Alleged Victim Seen Partying After Their Alleged Altercation

On the night of Majors' alleged assault on his then-girlfriend, his alleged victim was spotted partying after the attack. Videos of her partying surfaced around the internet, and TMZ has gotten its hands on one of them.

The victim alleged that Majors broke her hand during their altercation, but the videos have shown her using her hands without any problems at all, as she was partying as if nothing happened.

TMZ pointed out one particular incident when the alleged victim was seen dancing by a DJ booth. She placed her drink down and was seen talking to the DJ before suddenly being launched forward and possibly hitting her head. She was later seen leaving while holding hands with another woman.

The surveillance footage has now been submitted to the Manhattan District Attorney's office, with Majors' attorney claiming that they also have two witnesses, including a cab driver who allegedly saw the woman assaulting Jonathan Majors, ready to testify.

Jonathan Majors Already Being Shunned in Hollywood

The alleged incident has had a huge effect on Majors' career, as it has already negatively affected the "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" actor's life after he was arrested in New York City last month. He was released on bail.

Hollywood has now reportedly turned its back on the rising star, who has seen projects being canceled left and right. According to Fandom Wire, inside sources claim that many of those who have worked with Majors, as well as his peers, have so far refused to lend their support. This includes his former management company, Entertainment 360, which dropped him after his arrest.

This comes as more women have allegedly come forward and claimed that the actor has abused them. They are now reportedly cooperating with the Manhattan DA.
