There had been rumors that a spinoff of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" was coming. A recent announcement from VH1 confirmed that rumor, according to the Michigan Chronicle. The spinoff is entitled "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood."

The spinoff is set to premiere on Sept. 15 at 8 in the evening. VH1 has been teasing the public with several press releases announcing the much-awaited news. Based on the released information, the series will be introducing a new group of hip hop and R&B hopefuls. All of them will have their eyes glued to the prize and all will be ready to deliver the scandal, drama and all the shock that the hit show can do.

Fans can expect to see Ray J, Teairra Marie, Nikki Mudaris, Lil Fizz, Omarion, Soulja Boy, Hazel E, Young Berg, Sincere and Yesi Ortiz plus surprise guest stars, all people who have been making waves. Fans of B2K will be very delighted because Lil Fizz and Omarion will be part of the central cast.

It seems that, for this season, it will be the boys who will be catching everyone's attention. According to Music Times, Omarion's girlfriend Apryl Jones had their son earlier this month, so fans might be able to see Omarion preparing to be a dad. There might be some romance and drama as well because Lil Fizz is said to be considering settling down with Amanda Secor.

There had been several rumors that Soulja Boy would be able to be in the franchise in some way and that has come true since Soulja Boy also signed on and will be appearing with his girlfriend Nia Riley.

The show will also follow the budding relationship between Ray J and Morgan Hardman. Hazel E will be representing the ladies and of course all the others that have signed up for "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" are expected to get their own screen time.
