Hafthor Bjornsson, who starred as "The Mountain" in HBO's "Game of Thrones," recently completed Europe's strongest man competition and officially earned the winning title of Europe's Strongest Man of 2014, Uproxx reports.

Bjornsson earned his winning title after completing a stone lifting challenge in the competition. Following his stone lifting completion, The Huffington Post reports, Bjornsson ripped off his shirt and yelled, "I am the future of strength as I am King of the Stones!"

According to The Daily Mail, Bjornsson now joins the impressive list of previous Europe's Strongest Man winners including Mariusz Pudzianowski, Zydrunas Savickas and Geoff Capes.

In addition to having appeared on the hit show, "Game of Thrones," Bjornsson -- who stands tall at an impressive 6"9 and 400 lbs -- is a professional power lifter who travels the world to compete in strong man competitions, Esquire reports.

Bjornsson benches at 507 lbs., squats 770, and deadlifts at 994 lbs, according to Esquire and has so far had some impressive standings in several competitions throughout the years.

Among them are his standings as runner-up in the 2014 World's Strongest Man competition and placing third two times in a row for the same competition two years ago.

Earlier this month, Bjornsson also broke a world record for his ability to dead lift a whopping total of 1,016 pounds, Uproxx reports.

Although Bjornsson undoubtedly wowed fans with his impressive strength on "Game of Thrones," the Iceland native admitted during a Reddit AMA that his focus is towards becoming the World's strongest man.

"I had to choose between being a strong man competitor as well as an actor -- and the NFL. Right now my head and my goal is becoming the Worlds Strongest Man!"
