Ariana Grande has revealed that Justin Bieber does text her, and even calls her "cutie."

Ever since Ariana Grande posted an image of Justin Bieber kissing him on the cheek, the two have been bombarded with rumors of dating. While the two young stars have not really given the reports much attention, in an interview with M magazine Grande reveals that JB has been texting him and even has a special pet name for her.

"Justin's the most famous contact I have in my phone," she told the magazine, as reported by Hollywood Life. "I felt so cool when he texted me. I didn't believe it was him at first. He wrote, 'What's up cutie?' and I dropped my phone and thought, 'That did not just happen.'"

While Justin has been accused of being a womanizer, we all know that he still has his eyes set on Selena Gomez, so this report comes as a surprise and an upset for fans that ship "Jelena."

Moreover, it seems that Bieber has making a pass at the "The Way" singer several times. Grande, who has been compared to music icon Mariah Carey, also revealed that when JB congratulated her via tweet for covering one of his songs, "it meant the world" to her.

"I did a cover of 'Die In Your Arms' and Justin tweeted it and said he liked it and that meant the world to me," Ariana told M. "The fact that he did that means that he thinks I have some credibility as an artist. I'd love to work with him one day, I think he's adorable and amazing."

Notably, in an interview with Live from MTV, the 20-year-old singer revealed that it was the Biebs who initiated to take the "kiss on the cheek" picture, and even seemed to have forced her to post the image on Twitter.

"Yo, let's take a picture...I just was smiling and he kissed me on the cheek!" Grande told MTV. "And I didn't know what to do. I just walked out of the room. I got shy...And then Scooter came after to me and said, Scooter says Justin says you have to post that picture. And I said, 'I will not.'"

Not letting anyone say "No" to him, JB followed the meet with a tweet, telling "@ArianaGrande post that pic and tell your grandma she is a cutie."

Ariana followed and posted the image on Twitter with the caption "@justinbieber you're crazy and nonna says thank you, she loves you." What followed was an uproar from fans claiming that the two are already dating.

In an interview on On Air with Ryan Seacrest this week, Grande finally put reports to rest by blatantly saying that she isn't dating Bieber.

"No, that's ridiculous. It sounds so silly to me. That's not true at all."
