Jay Z, known for his expensive taste, collaborates with the high-end retailer Barneys New York, creating an "immense gallery space" for their annual holiday collection.

The exclusive partnership, "A New York Holiday," will all include themed window displays, lots of ads and a massive party, which will feature the special-edition merchandise from top fashion houses, Balmain, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Proenza Schouler and more.

Artist Joanie Lemercier was invited to help design the gallery space and the store's renowned windows on Madison Avenue. The store will be called, "BNY SCC Gallery," which stands for "Barneys New York Shawn Corey Carter."

"With this project, Barneys New York and I were able to take the slickness, energy and innovation of New York City and translate that into quality, timeless pieces," the entrepreneurial rapper elaborates on his inspiration of the project. "Everything that encompasses 'A New York Holiday' - the items chosen, the amazing designers that participated, the windows, the design of the BNY SCC Gallery - represents a perfect example of a unique and groundbreaking collaboration that I hope demonstrates how inspiring New York has been to me."

All in black, white, gold and silver color scheme, the limited-edition Jay Z designs include everything from apparel and accessories to humidor and blanket. Some of the luxury items featured in collection are: a men's raincoat with gold snap buttons by Stockholm-based designer Alexander Stutterheim, an 18-karat-gold double ring by Hoorsenbuhs, a black leather backpack by Alexander Wang for Balenciaga, a cashmere blanket by The Elder Statesman, a men's bag by Proenza Schouler and a Shawn Carter by Hublot watch featuring black alligator straps (also available in polished black ceramic).

The "Tom Ford" rapper is indeed planning to spread holiday cheer -- a quarter of sales profit will go to Jay Z's Shawn Carter Foundation, which financially helps low-income students to cover college tuition.

Jay Z' "A New York Holiday" collection will be available beginning on November 20.
