Jenny McCarthy has left "The View," but she and her new husband Donnie Wahlberg are going to get their story told on a new reality series, the 1981 horror film "Evil Dead" is getting a TV show based on the cult movie classic, and, there is a thin fin of a tale that a "Sharknado 3" film is coming.

In TV News, the former "The View" co-host Jenny McCarthy, and her husband, "Blue Bloods" star Donnie Wahlberg, have landed a reality show/docu-series on the A&E Network.

The TV version of the "Evil Dead" horror-comedy film that starred Bruce Campbell will have Campbell back in the lead reprising his character, Ash.

"Sharknado 3: The Third One" is coming. Just kidding about the title -- but there is a third movie of "Sharknado" underway.

McCarthy and Wahlberg's docu-series, titled "Donnie Loves Jenny," will follow the married couple from their engagement, on their wedding day, and in their new lives as newlyweds. It will also feature how they balance their new families and work schedules, Deadline reported. The premiere episode, coming out next year with 10 episodes, will be one hour long, and it will chronicle their Aug. 31 wedding. The remaining nine episodes will be 30 minutes long.

McCarthy and Wahlberg will have control over this production. "Donnie Loves Jenny" will be a joint production with A&E and the married couple's production company D&J Productions. The couple's reality series is being touted as a spin-off of A&E's hit reality show "Wahlburgers," Deadline reported. The Wahlberg family reality show is about the brothers making burgers at their restaurant in Boston, for which McCarthy did make an appearance.

The people behind the "Wahlburgers," 44 Blue Prods., will also be producing "Donnie Loves Jenny," Deadline reported.

A&E executives and the newlyweds are happy about the upcoming reality show production.

"Viewers have enjoyed following Donnie and Jenny's relationship on 'Wahlburgers' and we look forward to sharing this next part of their journey," General Manager and Executive Vice President of A&E David McKillop said, Deadline reported.

McCarthy and Wahlberg added a similar sentiment. "Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E Network," the newlyweds said, according to The Wrap.

Adding, "Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules, this gives us the chance to both work and play together," the newlyweds said, The Wrap reported.

From an unscripted series to a scripted one, the "Evil Dead" horror-comedy film has returned in the form of a TV show on Starz. And, it will be an "Evil Dead" family affair. Besides Campbell reprising his role as Ash, the franchise director Sam Raimi will be executive producing the series, and writing and directing the premiere episode, Entertainment Weekly reported. Rob Tapert, who also produced the "Evil Dead" films, will also be producing the TV series.

The series will be all about the Ash character. It is titled "Ash vs. Evil Dead." The TV series will follow Campbell as Ash, who is an aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter. Ash has spent the last 30 years avoiding life: Obligations, adulthood, and even the terrors of the Evil Dead monsters called the Deadites, Entertainment Weekly reported. But when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of humanity, Ash is forced to face all of his aforementioned problems/demons.

"Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its 'Evil' grip," the logline from the new TV series states.

Campbell has starred in the cult favorite horror-comedy in 1981, then in "Evil Dead II" in 1987 and in "Army of Darkness" in 1992, and he made an appearance in the 2013 rebooted film version of the same name. He is excited to be back in the role, Entertainment Weekly reported.

"I'm really excited to bring this series to the 'Evil Dead' fans worldwide -- it's going to be everything they have been clamoring for: serious deadite ass-kicking and plenty of outrageous humor," Campbell said.

"Ash vs. Evil Dead" will be premiering on the Starz channel next year. The show will play out over 10 half-hour episodes, Rolling Stone reported.

From scary monsters to man-eating tornado sharks, there is talk and a poster already teased about a third "Sharknado" film. So far, what has been touted is that Anthony C. Ferrante will be directing "Sharknado 3," ComingSoon.net reported. It will feature the infamous weather anomaly of sharks as they take on the U.S.: from Washington, D.C. to Florida.

The sharks are expected to swim to either movie theaters or to TV by summer next year.

If the poster is not proof enough, Tara Reid has all but confirmed that the "Sharknado 3" is being written. Reid was speaking on an Australian show when she stated she is excited about the third one, MoviePilot reported.

"They're actually writing the script right now. There's rumours," Reid said. "No one has been attached right now, not the writer, not the director, not the actors, but there's lots of rumours about where it is right now ... We're going to do it. We have to," MoviePilot reported.
