The 2014-15 NBA Fantasy Basketball season is heating up. If you are looking to bounce back from disappointing results or trying to maintain the lead in your respective leagues, here is a quick look at top possible pickups for Week 6 of the current season.

Louis Williams (Toronto Raptors)

Lou Williams has been one of the hottest pickups over the past two weeks after having a string of impressive performances for the Raptors. His fantasy value increased further after DeMar DeRozan sustained a torn adductor longus tendon, which will put him on the sidelines indefinitely.

Williams averaged 22.0 points and 2.3 steals in their last six games. He struggled against the Lakers on Sunday where he scored 19 points on just 29.4 percent shooting from the field, but the 28-year-old shooting guard is still a must-own player in all formats.

Greivis Vasquez (Toronto Raptors)

Vasquez also became an intriguing option for fantasy owners looking for help on points, assists and three pointers. The 27-year-old point guard also benefited from DeRozan's injury, getting more playing time on Sunday.

Vasquez started in place of DeRozan and finished with 19 points to go along with five assists and a steal in 34 minutes of playing time. Over their last three games, Vasquez averaged 18.0 points, 5.3 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 3.3 three-pointers.

Corey Brewer (Minnesota Timberwolves)

Corey Brewer struggled to find his rhythm in the first three weeks of the season, but the 28-year-old has been performing well as of late. Brewer averaged 12.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.8 steals in their last six games.

While the Timberwolves are oozing with young prospects like Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine, Brewer is expected to get a lot of opportunities to make his fantasy owners smile with the Minnesota Timberwolves playing four games this week.

Timofey Mozgov (Denver Nuggets)

Mozgov should also be owned in most leagues at this point, especially for fantasy owners who are looking for boost on points and field goal percentage.

The 28-year-old center averaged 13.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals in his last four games. The Denver Nuggets center also shot 62.9 percent from the field over that span.

Nikola Mirotic (Chicago Bulls)

Fantasy owners should also consider picking Nikola Mirotic up in case the rookie power forward is still available. Mirotic averaged 12.5 points on 63.7 percent shooting from the field to go along with 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. His numbers are expected to improve until Taj Gibson returns from an ankle injury.
