Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have been known to talk openly about their relationship, so it comes as no surprise that their relationship was one of the topics discussed in an interview with Katie Couric.

When asked about Woods, Vonn told Couric "If there's one thing I could say, he's funny. He's goofy -- like dorky-goofy."

Vonn has spent the better part of the last year rehabbing her knee after a horrific injury on the ski slopes in February. She pulled out of a skiing event in October, which seemed to be mostly for precautionary reasons to ensure that she is good to go for the Sochi Olympics.

Robert Trenwalder, who heads Athletes Aspecial Projects for Red Bull, was one of the main people who helped her in the rehab process and so far it looks like it was a success. She made the necessary progress and now she is expected to be ready for the Olympics.

"Lindsey is a fighter and having her goal always in mind, she did everything needed for her comeback," Trenkwalder said to CNN. "She has mastered it outstandingly and she always knew that she couldn't do too much too early.

"But such a tremendous injury requires a very specific and well-co-ordinated rehab program," he added. "The U.S. Ski Team, Dr Bill Sterett and we at Red Bull did everything possible to create an ideal rehab environment for Lindsey."

In other news, Tiger Woods made headlines this week when a video showed him hitting a golf ball across a bridge from Asia to Europe.
