Taylor Swift is reportedly extending the olive branch to Katy Perry in hopes of ending their long simmering rivalry.

According to Hollywood Life, the 25-year-old "Shake It Off" singer has "let it be known that she would love to kiss and make up with Katy."

The two starlets have been feuding ever since Swift told Rolling Stone in a 2014 interview "she was straight up enemies" with an unnamed artist many assumed to be the 29-year-old Perry. Rumors have also long circulated that Swift remains peeved at Perry over some of her backup dancers leaving her to join the "Roar" crooner's posse.

Hollywood Life reports the wait for the two to kiss and make up could be a slow process.

"Taylor's tried to reach out to make amends with Katy, but Katy is not going to accept it nor is she interested in having a friendship with Taylor," a source said. "She wants nothing to do with Taylor. In Katy's mind, Taylor shouldn't even attempt to make a friendship happen. That ship has sailed."

Reportedly, the two went out of their way to avoid one another during the recent Grammy's weekend, particularly when it came to the industry after parties each of them elected to attend.

Days before, Perry seemingly took yet another shot at Swift during her Super Bowl halftime show by having her backup dancers dress in polka-dot bikinis similar to the one Swift is known to have previously worn.
