Rihanna's highly anticipated eighth studio album "R8" might feature fellow diva Jennifer Lopez.

During her recent interview with E! News, Lopez praised her co-star from the upcoming animated DreamWorks film, "Home."

"I'm a huge Rihanna fan... and I feel like she's such a girl's girl, which I love, because I'm a girl's girl and she seems very sweet," she said. "And I love the edginess about her and I think she did a really great job in this film."

When asked whether she would collaborate with the Barbadian singer in the future, J. Lo responded in excitement: "Absolutely! Who wouldn't?"

The feeling is mutual, as RiRi said of the Latin mogul, who plays her character's mother in the forthcoming movie, in an interview with Grazia magazine:

"When you hear Jennifer, her voice has that warmth and safeness that my mother's has. It has that tone. It's almost like it can hug you. I love her. She is great. Doesn't everybody want J. Lo to be their mum?"

In addition, the "Diamonds" hitmaker recently detailed the follow-up to 2012's "Unapologetic."

"I've made a lot of songs that are just really, really big songs. From the jump, they just blow up," she told MTV. "And I wanted to kind of get back to -- not that they weren't real music, but I just wanted to focus on things that felt real, that felt soulful, that felt forever."

Rihanna admitted that many of her songs from the past have not aged with her, further noting that her latest project will be "timeless." She set out to have music that would still work 15 years down the line.

"I find that when I get on stage now, I don't want to perform a lot of my songs because they don't feel like me," she added. "So I want to make songs that are timeless."
