Golden Globes organizers have decided that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were the best hosts ever! Therefore they will be making a comeback at next month's Golden Globes. In fact, the first ladies of comedy impressed the organizers of the award show so much that they decided to bind them into a two-year contract, something pretty unusual for award shows.

The former Saturday Night Live comedians built up the ratings to a six-year high with 19.7 million viewers tuning in to the 2013 Golden Globes. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Dick Clark Productions, which produce the show, had no debate on who was going to host the show in 2014 and 2015. NBC, the network who both broadcast the show and are part of the host selection, were determinded to have Fey and Poehler back. Paul Telegdy, NBC executive said: "Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writers/performers in our business, and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season."

Amy and Tina's previous experience hosting in skits during their time on Saturday Night Live sure came in handy. They had a bigger advantage on how the show would flow without any awkward pauses and non-humorous jokes. First of all, these two are hilarious individually, and are used to making us laugh together as well.

CEO of Dick Clark Productions, Allen Shapiro said: "Tina and Amy have a truly unique chemistry, making them one of the most talented and captivating pairings of all-time."

Today's award shows are all about the host. Yes, the celebrities and fashions may be the reason why you tune in, but the host is what keeps you from changing the channel. Fey and Poehler also did very well with involving the in-house audience in their skits; it was as if you were watching their own show (great idea by the way). Very excited to see what they have prepared for us for the next two years!
