Apple CEO Tim Cook is talking big and reports are referring to larger iPads and apparently, larger iPhones.

According to Business Insider, Cook took the time to hint on 'bigger stuff' for 2014 through a year-end memo which he sent to all Apple employees. Quoting 9to5Mac, the memo reads:

"We have a lot to look forward to in 2014, including some big plans that we think customers are going to love. I am extremely proud to stand alongside you as we put innovation to work serving humankind's deepest values and highest aspirations. I consider myself the luckiest person in the world for the opportunity to work at this amazing company with all of you."

Rumors are saying that Apple might just be releasing a larger 12.9 inch iPad October of 2014. The rumor stems from Apple allegedly having their larger-sized iPad mass produced by supplier Quanta Computer.

Digitimes quotes a source and reports that "Apple's large-size tablet will be manufactured by Quanta Computer, and was originally expected to adopt either 12.9- or 13.3-inch panels, with recent rumors indicating that 12.9-inch has a better chance to be picked."

According to MacRumors, a 12.9 Retina display has already begun production. The said screen is to be used in the alleged larger iPad in the coming year.

Aside from a bigger screen, the next generation iPad is believed to come with ultra high definition (UHD) display quality.

The tech giant is also reported to be releasing a bigger iPhone come May 2014. Reports of the iPhone 6 being larger than the current generation iPhone models have already emerged even before the iPhone 5s and 5c release.

Though widespread, such rumors have not been confirmed by the company yet. Fans and users though, are hoping that a possible 4.7-inch iPhone 6 be indeed part of Apple's bigger plans for 2014.

Others are saying that Cook might just be referring to the company's product line-up in general. Business Insider reports that the "bigger plans" might include the iWatch, Apple's rumored television set and wait for it - an iPad Bro.

The iPad Bro is still in its infancy as far as rumors are concerned but it will reportedly measure in at 13 inches and will most probably be a hybrid like the Microsoft Surface.
