Actor Cam Gigandet of "Reckless" fame has already sold his charming Venice home for $2.47 million.

Gigandet purchased the two-story property three years ago for only $1.9 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The nearly 3000 square-foot contemporary home, built in 1950, has wonderful architectural details. Gigandet's former abode boasts wooden flooring, soaring ceilings, an airy ambiance, and modern marble and granite finishing.

The onetime home of "The O.C." actor includes three bedrooms, a great room, a garden, a kitchen equipped with a center island and a rooftop deck.

The home nestled in Venice also has a strategic location, which makes living in it both convenient and amazing. The residence is situated near shopping stores and even dining places. The bi-level home also offers a relaxing atmosphere and wonderful cityscape views.

Gigandet's listing agents who handled the sale were David Kirk Fowler and Denise Fast of Re/Max Estate Properties, while the buyer's agent was Emily Bregman of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, the Times also noted.

Life after 'Reckless'

In his interview with Collider, Gigandet shared how he enjoyed working with his co-stars in the 2014 TV series.

"We never felt stuck. We always felt like we were creating something new and telling new aspects of this story. Things didn't feel stale, or anything," Gigandet said.

Unfortunately, CBS cancelled the series after its first season, which disappointed its loyal fans who even campaigned for its revival.

Gigandet is expected to be featured in more projects because of his versatility as an actor. He can portray various roles ranging from good guys to bad guys.

"I like having that balance, right now, in my life. But, it's never been a plan to have this or that. It's just where I am in my life, at that time, and where my path is going to go. In the past, I would try to control so much, but that's just too stressful, and gives me too much anxiety and worry," the actor told Collider.

The actor will next be seen in a psychological thriller, "Broken Vows," portraying a character named Michael.

Gigandet and his fiancee, Dominique Geisendorff, are expecting their third child together.
