If you thought it was hard to approach 50 Cent, imagine how much harder it'll be now that UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock is on his security detail.

TMZ reported that Shamrock was at the rapper's Consumer Electronic Show (CES) Convention in Las Vegas last January 9.  The event featured some of Hollywood's starts and musicians as well as personalities from sports and media.

However, The popular wrestler did not attend as a guest, rather, Shamrock was part of 50 Cent's personal security.

"49-year-old Shamrock was spotted on the rapper's personal protection detail at the CES convention in Las Vegas yesterday ... and afterward, Ken confirmed he's now working for a company that does private security for several "high-end clients," including Fiddy.

Some consider the move as a fitting transition for the former WWE superstar; Shamrock's new profession allows him to use his physical knowledge and experience physicality to his advantage and earn a hefty penny in the process.

Shortly after the news broke, Shamrock, on his official twitter account, confirmed he was working with 50 Cent via a tweet which states, "@50cent - it's been a pleasure working with you and your team, you are by far one of the classiest gents I have ever worked with. God bless"

The UFC legend has also replied to a number of personalities to confirm the matter, one of which was TMZ's Harvey Levin, "Harvey, I'm doing a private security detail for 50 Cent," Shamrock wrote on the matter by confirming that he has been working with 50 Cent doing some personal bodyguarding.

The former chamption's twitter feed is full of tweets from well-wishers following news of Shamrock's new activity. One fan tweeted, "I would love to have @ShamrockKen as my bodyguard #MostDangerousBodyGuardinTheWorld."

Another comment said, "@ShamrockKen greatest pound for pound fighter of all time, hands down! #GOAT #Myidol #legend."

However, some people weren't so happy about the news, "It's kinda sad actually, you are a legend and should have people for YOU," one fan tweeted.

Shamrock earned his title as "The World's Most Dangerous Man" during the peak of his career. International Business Times writes that UFC President Dana White stated that there were no other two individuals, aside from Shamrock and Gracie, who can equaled their contributions to the sport of mixed martial arts.
