Jason Biggs of "American Pie" fame has found a buyer for his Hollywood Hills West home.

The 37-year-old actor, who also appeared in the TV series "Mad Love," has sold his California home for nearly $2.56 million, reported the Los Angeles Times.

The luxury property had an asking price of nearly $3 million last year, so the final deal was roughly $440,000 short of the original intended selling amount. It was relisted for only $2.6 million prior to closing.

The actor reportedly bought the Midcentury Modern residence eight years ago for almost $2.24 million, prior to his marriage with his wife, Jenny Mollen, who is also a Hollywood actress known for the "Crash" TV series.

Agents who finalized the deal for Biggs were Peter Maurice and Tregg Rustad of Rodeo Realty while Ben Salem from the same office served as the buyer's agent.

Home's features

The former home of the "Orange Is the New Black" actor showcases a modern vibe befitting the posh and gated L.A. neighborhood. The property, which was built more than five decades ago, hints of old Hollywood grandeur but also offers beautiful views of the city and the ocean.

The 2,756-square-foot abode includes three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The master bedroom comes with a master bathroom displaying an enviable shower with a view. Sitting above the Sunset Strip, it also features other living spaces such as a great room, a dining room, a media room and a den that can be converted into a residential office.

The home also comes with notable interior details. There are vaulted ceilings, which create an effective impression that the rooms are bigger than they are. The spanning windows make the room brighter as they let natural light fill the room, aside from letting the new residents see the wonderful scenery outside. The Hollywood Hills West residence also showcases an open floor plan, giving a comfortable living space for the owners. Outside, a courtyard, an outdoor gym, a dog-run, and a swimming pool add charm to property.

Photos of the home are available on Variety when the outlet featured the property in August.
