One day after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's decision to uphold Tom Brady's four-game suspension, a lawsuit was filed.

The Associated Press reports the New England Patriots quarterback in conjunction with the NFLPA filed a lawsuit against the NFL, hoping to stop his suspension. On his Facebook page, Brady proclaimed his innocence about the "Deflategate" scandal, stating, "I did nothing wrong." You can check out the rest of Brady's post below:

I am very disappointed by the NFL’s decision to uphold the 4 game suspension against me. I did nothing wrong, and no one...

Brady is not the only New England Patriots member to speak out about the decision. Patriots owner Robert Kraft had some choice words for Goodell.

"It is completely incomprehensible to me that the league continues to take steps to disparage one of its all-time great players, and a man for whom I have the utmost respect," Kraft said. "I have come to the conclusion that this was never about doing what was fair and just."

The lawsuit argues the NFL made up its rules as the scandal went on rather than following its own rules in the book. However, it is alleged that Brady destroyed his cell phone to hide evidence pertaining to the case, according to SB Nation. Brady denied breaking his cell phone on purpose.

According to CBS Sports, the lawsuit was filed in Minnesota, but will be moved to New York because it "perceives no reason for this action to proceed in Minnesota." Also, the NFL believes the players union had favorable rulings in the past, thus moving the venue to New York.

Brady was suspended for the first four games of the regular season for his involvement in the "Deflategate" scandal. The Patriots were docked $1 million and two draft picks.
