The 2015 MLB trade deadline is almost here. Trade rumors are flying around the league like wildfire, and the hot stove is burning. With so little time remaining, general managers across the league have to make big decisions to help improve their teams.

Let's take a look at some of the latest trade rumors.

Jay Bruce to the Mets?

The New York Mets need hitting help in a big way. The Cincinnati Reds have been the busiest team over the last week, unloading talented players like Johnny Cueto to build for the future. Jay Bruce has two more years left on his contract with the Reds, and ESPN's Buster Olney recently reported that the Mets could swap Zack Wheeler for him. Bruce hasn't made an All-Star game since 2012, but he could help bring some power to Queens.

Yankees Pitching Options

If the Yankees are going to make a run this year, they have to improve their starting pitching. Unfortunately for them, the San Francisco Giants recently traded for Mike Leake from the Reds. Fox commentator Ken Rosenthal listed some pitchers who could be traded, including James Shields.

Yoenis Céspedes to the White Sox?

It feels like Yoenis Céspedes gets traded every year. He's adapted very well to switching teams in the past, and he's batting .298 this season. MLB reports have indicated that the Chicago White Sox are interested in trading with the Detroit Tigers to acquire Céspedes. Additionally, the Baltimore Orioles could make a run at trading for Céspedes.

Dodgers Want Another Pitcher

Yovani Gallardo is attracting a lot of attention from multiple teams. The 29-year-old Mexican pitcher is in the final year of a contract with the Texas Rangers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers are the frontrunners to sign him. The Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays are also in the mix to trade for Gallardo before the deadline, though the Blue Jays recently traded for David Price, so don't be surprised if they back out.

Starlin Castro Mystery

Will the Cubs trade Starlin Castro or won't they? Castro's fate has been one of the biggest questions this year. The Mets have shown a lot of interest in him, and earlier reports indicated that the Cubs could even trade the Dominican shortstop to the San Diego Padres.

Red Sox Like Tyson Ross

The Padres have a pretty underrated pitcher in Tyson Ross, and the Red Sox are taking notice. The Sox have even reached out to the Padres about a possible trade this year that would include Ross. The Red Sox rank 27th in team pitching, so this would make sense.

The MLB trade deadline is Friday, July 31 at 4 p.m. EST.
