It is rare when fans in the TV arena get a "super group," but that is what has happened on the new slate that will be helmed by two TV industry titans.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that "Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke has teamed up with "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan on a new project that is sure to bring fans to their television sets.

The move comes at a time when Kripke, who had a long honored a contract with Warner Bros. Television, now makes a move over to Sony Pictures Television. He will be joined under that umbrella with Gilligan, "Outlander's" Ron Moore, Joe Bokenkamp, Baz Luhrmann, John Eisendrath and Shawn Ryan ("The Shield").

With all of these combined talents under one roof, there is sure to be some great TV shows turning out for Sony Pictures in the future. Just imagine a world were the Winchester brothers fight a horde of zombies that were turned from Blue Meth. A world where a tough-as-nails anti-hero cop like Vic Mackey ("The Shield") might take on vampires, demons and werewolves.

The sky is the limit with this new pairing of super minds that have created some of the best television over the past decade for the new age of the anti-hero stars.

Kripke has signed a two-year deal with the studio and is expected to turn out new projects for development. His previous contract, which was a long-standing relationship he had with Warner Bros., brought shows like "Supernatural" and the now defunct "Revolution" to air.

His flagship show, "Supernatural," has been raging on for over a decade now and this fall, the 11th season will premiere on the CW network.

Kripke's previous deal with Warner Bros. started in 2008 and he had multiple projects in the fire before turning away and jumping ship over to Sony.

There is no word yet on what his next project will be and who will be involved with it.
