While Google's Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 are prepping to be released by the end of September, another device from the company is also believed to come out on the same date as the two.

According to GSMarena, a rumored device assumed to be the Nexus 8 tablet has surfaced in China and its physical specs have all been in the form of a literal measurement using a ruler. The alleged Nexus 8 Tablet is 200 mm in length. Other than that, a metal frame and an OS of Android 5.1.1 were the only known specs for the phone.

Google's Nexus Tablet line has not been all under the water as it emerges again in the form of the rumored Nexus 8 Tablet. In a report from phonearena, more detailed specs of the tablet emerged including an Android 5.1.1 operating system, a motherboard of Colorfly Hero. and, surprisingly, a MediaTek SoC processor instead of the conventional Snapdragon, just like in its predecessors. Its octa-core1.3 GHz clock speed has been one of the reasons why the snapdragon chipset was not incorporated on the rumored Google device.

With all the rumors circulating about the possibility of a new Nexus 8 Tablet, contradicting reports have been the only thing consistent about it as another report from the androidpolice denied all of these rumors. Apparently, there have been no signs that Google is actually working on a new tablet and that the concept of Geekbench entries is known to be easily copied and replicated. A clear indication that the said existence of the device is fake is the build number, which does not exist or returns a zero value when entered.

TechRadar has been very keen on following the progress of the rumored Nexus 8 tablet because of Google's apparent shutdown of the Nexus 7, which was obviously loved by consumers in the past.

After Google ceased the sale of Nexus 7, they jumped right to Nexus 9, which did not post a significant and business-altering sale on their part. Instead, it listed lower sales than that of the previous Nexus 7.

If you're wondering where the Nexus 7 will find its second home, don't, because the device is said to still be available in Amazon for a few dollars more. The rumors about Nexus 8 coming out soon has all been rumored online, but to actually know the real score, we will have to wait for September when they finally launch Nexus 5 and 6.
