Eight teams will see action on Day 4 of the 2015 FIBA Americas Championship on Thursday at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. Here is a breakdown of Thursday's matches.

Uruguay vs. Dominican Republic, 1 p.m. ET

Dominican Republic will try to keep their hopes alive when they collide with Uruguay in the opening game of the day.

Dominican Republic started the tournament with two consecutive defeats to host Mexico and Brazil before they bounced back with an 83-66 win against Panama on Wednesday.

However, they will be going up against a fresher Uruguayan side, who took a rest day on Wednesday, following their 78-71 defeat to Panama on Day 2 of the 2016 Rio Olympics regional qualifier.

Argentina vs. Cuba, 3:30 p.m. ET

Argentina managed to prove their doubters wrong in their first two games. The perennial contenders took a hard-earned 91-86 win over Puerto Rico in their tournament opener, which was followed by an impressive 94-87 victory against Canada, who are considered as strong favorites to win the title this year.

Luis Scola also proved in their first two assignments that he is still a force to reckon with. The 35-year-old forward averaged 28.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in his first two games.

Canada vs. Venezuela, 7 p.m. ET

Canada and Venezuela will collide in a crucial Group B match. Venezuela won in their first two matches, while Canada went 1-1. Following their loss to Argentina, Canada bounced back with a 101-59 blowout win against Cuba on Wednesday.

A win for the Andrew Wiggins-led Canada will move them to second spot in Group B. They could end up on top depending on the result of the match between Argentina and Venezuela on Friday.

Mexico vs. Panama, 9:30 p.m. ET

Host Mexico will look their keep their unblemished record when they face Panama in the final game of the day.

Mexico, the defending FIBA Americas champions, are coming off a hard-earned 65-58 win against Brazil on Wednesday. They took a rest on Tuesday after their 84-66 win against Dominican Republic.

On the other hand, Panama opened their campaign with a 78-71 win against Uruguay on Tuesday, but they took an 83-66 beating against Dominican Republic on Wednesday.
