To win Miss BumBum 2015 contestants work hard to make sure they are fit and looking their best, however one contestant is willing to take an extra step in ensuring she makes it to the top.

Debora Oliver, who represents the state of Sâo Paulo in the Brazilian beauty pageant, revealed that she will undergo surgery to remove two ribs and give herself a smaller waist, which leads to a more defined hourglass figure and bigger looking derriere, reported Paraná Online.

The 22-year-old model is reportedly going to invest $100,000 into getting the procedure done. While the Brazilian Surgery Society does not recommend the risky procedure, and states that the results are not a guarantee, a lot of women still go ahead with the surgery.

The operation is considered dangerous because of what may happen while it is being conducted and also because of what is being removed. By removing the ribs, Oliver would be putting some of her organs at risk of being damaged during an accident.

Even though Miss Bumbum is a beauty competition, surgical procedures are not necessarily banned. Contestants can have surgery on any part of their body besides the derriere, which they have to prove is real. Several contestants have admitted to having surgery or botox to achieve their desired looks.

There are 27 contestants currently competing for votes to make it to the top 15. The models were chosen from more than 500 applicants. The televised portion of the competition is scheduled to air on Nov. 9, reported Yahoo! News.

Currently, Oliver is in 20th place in the competition. The top five contestants are Thamario Imâncio in first place with 13.8 percent, Fernanda Abraâo has 12.83 percent and is second, Débora Danriu is in third place and has 10.3 percent, Camila Gomes is in fourth with 8.04 percent and Débora Bindur is in fifth with 8.01 percent.
