Los Angeles Lakers center Roy Hibbert is parting with his old home in Indiana.

Hibbert, an All-Star NBA athlete is offering his dwelling place for $26.5 million while still playing with the Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Times reported. The 28-year-old athlete reportedly bought the Carmel home from retired basketball player Alan Henderson three years ago for the same price. He must be just eager to unload it easily to focus on becoming the towering player in L.A. Lakers.

The 11,200-square-foot residence has so much to offer and is actually fitting for a very big family. The two-story mansion features 20 rooms, including six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. Other living spaces include an entertainment room, a lounge with a bar, a gourmet kitchen with two islands and a home theater. The next owners will also be delighted with the master suite that comes with lavish amenities like Jack and Jill bathrooms, a huge bath tub, a spa-like shower and closets.

The interiors of the private and gated home boast wooden flooring, high vaulted ceilings that create a larger ambiance and more comfortable atmosphere, and formal-themed living spaces. A high-end swimming pool with a spa completes the two-acre sprawling grounds that also display a four-car garage and an outdoor kitchen. A festive party may be planned in this expansive outdoor living space.

Role in L.A. Lakers

After seven seasons with the Pacers since 2008, Hibbert was sent to the Lakers in July in exchange for a future second-round pick, NBA.com noted.

Retired NBA player and Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird commended Hibbert for all his efforts for the former team. He reportedly tallied an average of 11.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in seven years.

"I'd like to thank Roy for all his contributions during his time in Indiana. He was a two-time NBA All-Star, and we appreciate everything he did for our franchise both on and off the court," Bird said, as quoted by the NBA site.

In the Popcorn Machine interview, the 2014 Defensive Player of the Year runner-up knows what he can do for the Lakers and he is focused on that goal, a separate NBA article informed.

"Look who we have in terms of scoring power: Lou Williams, Nick Young, Kobe (Bryant), JC (Jordan Clarkson), D'Angelo (Russell). All those guys can score, so I'm not gonna sit here and say, 'I need the rock.'... I know what I need to do to help this team win, and that's to shore up the defensive end," Hibbert said.
