Several contestants from the 2015 Miss BumBum competition hit the streets of Brazil on Wednesday Oct. 7 to get people to vote for them.

According to Globo, the contestants took the competition to the streets of Republic Square in São Paulo and went around asking people if they could vote for them.

Débora Oliver, who represents São Paulo, Jennifer Camacho from Rondônia, Débora Bindur of Pernambuco and Daiana Nogueira from Sergipe walked around the streets of São Paulo, in their Miss BumBum bikinis, asking for votes and took pictures with a few excited fans.

"I will fight to the end until the moment that I am disqualified, but I am confident that the game will turn in my favor and I will be in the final," said Nogueira, who made sure she spoke to as many fans as possible.

This isn't the first time the contestants make very public appearances. On the first day of the competition all the contestants walked the streets of Brazil's capitol showing off their assets and recently a few visited Rio de Janeiro.

In September, several contestants made a public appearance in Rio de Janeiro when they visited the Christ the Redeemer statue wearing their bathing suits and took pictures.

The visit caused controversy because many believed their outfits were inappropriate for a visit to a religious site and because for photo shoots to occur, by any form of media, permission needs to be requested from the press office.

Their visit caught the attention of 2014 contestant Rebeka Francys, who is now a dedicated Evangelical. Francys said that she hopes that the contestants will ask for forgiveness for their actions.

"I hope they will repent one day for all the exposure, just as I regret everything that I submitted myself to when I took part in that competition," she said. "I think this year the candidates will appeal more than usual ... you hardly hear about the contestants from previous years. If I could go back I would not have participated."

The 2015 Miss BumBum competition finale will take place on Nov. 9 in São Paulo. Fans can currently vote for their favorite contestant online at the official Miss BumBum website. Only 15 of the 27 contestants will move on to the grand finale.
