No one could miss the chemistry between Alek Skarlatos and Emma Slater when they're paired together during the last "Dancing with the Stars" episode.

According to a previous post from Latin Post, Skarlatos partnered with Slater for the DWTS Switch-Up Week and the two were able to turn the heat up on the dance floor. While the judges gave the pair a middle-of-the-pack score, the chemistry between the two was off the charts.

During the behind-the-scenes video, Skarlatos revealed that he even had a difficult time concentrating during practice because Slater is "too hot."

In a post-show interview with E! News, it was clear that the chemistry from their performance translated out of the dance floor as well. Both were outspoken about being happy with their dance this week.

When asked if the real-life hero has a crush on his one-time pro partner, he wanted to keep a little mystery to himself.

"No comment!" Skarlatos responded to the question.

Meanwhile, his partner was just as stoked with their performance saying, "I had the best time!"

"From the start, I was like, 'I love this guy, he's great,'" Slater added during the interview. "I wanted to get him."

The steamy performance might have surprised the viewers, who are used to Skarlatos' cool and stoic exterior, but the sexy rumba didn't really catch the pro dancer off guard.

"I kind of knew it would be like that and now I want to watch it back," Slater told People after the show. "From the first day of rehearsal, we were really comfortable with each other. Some people just have that energy that you can have a laugh with straight away and just do normal stuff with."

The comfort level was a big part of Skarlatos' success on the floor in the previous episode, and he acknowledged this, saying, "I am really lucky with the partner I got for Switch-Up Week. I think it's the most fun week I've had on the show yet."

The dancers go back to their original partners on the next episode, Lindsay Arnold for Skarlatos and Hayes Grier for Slater, but this love story might not be over just yet. While neither Skarlatos nor Slater admitted their crush on each other, People reported that the pair agreed to go on a date together during their performance interview on the show.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 21 airs every Monday, 8 p.m. on CBS.
