Drake released a new video for his smash hit single "Hotline Bling" on Monday.

The 28-year-old Canadian rapper debuted the video, helmed by Director X, on Apple Music, where he originally premiered the song itself, according to Rolling Stone.

The video opens on a call center full of phone sex operators. Then the music starts, and the shot cuts to Drake in a room lit in various colors. As the rapper delivers the song's lyrics, he also shows off some subtle dance moves, first by himself and then with a partner. He's also seen rapping while sitting on a staircase.

The track, which closely resembles rapper D.R.A.M.'s "Cha Cha," is not a remix of the song, although some have claimed it sounds like it is. It does, however, feature a sped-up sample of Timmy Thomas' "Why Can't We Live Together."

Several artists have covered the popular track, such as Nick Jonas, Erykah Badu, Alessia Cara and Keyshia Cole. Badu sings a version of the song from her perspective, while incorporating her own track "On and On" and her ex-boyfriend Andre 3000's song "Ms. Jackson."

Drake released his last mixtape "What a Time to Be Alive" with Future on Sept. 20. The offering topped the U.S. Billboard 200, the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, the Canadian Albums chart and the U.K. R&B Albums chart.

The rapper's last solo mixtape "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" dropped on Feb. 13. The mixtape produced the singles "Preach" and "Energy." This mixtape topped the U.S. Billboard 200, the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, the Canadian Albums chart and the U.K. R&B Albums chart as well.

Drake announced his next offering will be titled "Views from the 6," although specific details have not yet been revealed. The new music has been getting pushed back due to the mixtape releases.
