The Weeknd recently met Taylor Swift and claims she could not stop petting his hair.

The 25-year-old "Shake It Off" singer and the Canadian R&B singer, also 25, were both attending a Grammys after-party when the incident went down, according to Rolling Stone.

"Everyone was hammered," The Weeknd said. "Sam had just won, like, every Grammy, so he was having the time of his life. Max Martin actually left because everyone was so drunk. Unfortunately, that was the one month I decided to stop drinking. Everybody was having a great time, all these cool things were happening, and I was shaking, like -- 'F*ck, I really want a drink.'"

Several A-list stars, such as Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran and Disclosure, were at the party, which was held in an $80 million mansion in Bel Air. However, Swift was the one person The Weeknd met who could not take her hands of his head.

"The whole time she was talking, she was kind of, like, petting my hair? I think she was just drawn to it -- she must have been a little gone off a few drinks," he said. "And of course I'm not going to be like, 'Hey, can you stop?' I mean, it felt good! But when she started petting my hair, that's when I was like, 'I definitely need a drink.'"

The country turned pop singer also complimented him on some of his older music, which he never expected her to know.

"She actually schooled me on my own sh*t," he recalled. "She was like, 'I've been listening to 'The Morning' [from 'House of Balloons'] for years -- it's one of my favorite songs ever!' I mean, she might have just Googled it. But she seemed genuine."

The Weeknd released his second studio album, "Beauty Behind the Madness," on Aug. 28. Singles produced by the album so far include "Often," "The Hills" and "I Can't My Feel Face."
