The 35-year old reality star will reportedly no longer be on the show and according to People, she was not fired from the program.

Citing an unnamed source, People said that Maria left the show voluntarily, and was not fired. "She was not fired. She wasn't ousted. No one is pushing her out," the unnamed source told the outlet.

Us Weekly's source confirms the same story, saying "Maria was 100 percent not fired. The truth is, she decided months ago on her own to explore other options, as she knew her contract was coming up for renewal. She made this decision."

People reports that contrary to rumors, there is "no drama" between her and Extra co-host, Mario Lopez. "There's no Mario-Maria thing. She has no problem with him. She's fine with her co-host," the outlet cites the unnamed source.

"There is no bad energy," Us Weekly quotes their source. "Maria has so much going on with her reality show, and she's happy that she has so many options to explore right now."

Maria had just gotten herself a new show called Chasing Maria Menounos on Oxygen. The reality series aired its first episode March 18 and centers on the Greek beauty who shares a home with long-time boyfriend, Keven Undergaro and her parents Costas and Litsa.

Interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres, Maria revealed that her parents were actually very hesitant to be part of the reality series but agreed later on. "I just love the idea that I am able to take these two villagers from Greece who had no running water, they didn't have shoes to go to school with and now they're going to be famous on TV," she jokingly told Ellen.

The 35-year old is also set to release her very own book, The EveryGirl's Guide To Diet And Fitness: How I Lost 40 lbs and Kept It Off-And How You Can Too! in April. The book follows after her 2011 book, The EveryGirl's Guide to Life.
