Coldplay and Beyoncé have released their new duet "Hymn for the Weekend."

The British band debuted the track, which will be included on their upcoming album "A Head Full of Dreams," on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show, according to Spin.

So far, the band has released the forthcoming album's lead single "Adventure of a Lifetime," "Everglow," which features Chris Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, and this new Beyoncé duet.

The new song featuring Queen Bey showcases Martin's trademark piano skills and incorporates stomp-clap kick drums and echoing vocals.

Martin sings the lyrics, "Life is a drink, and love's a drug."

Beyoncé adds a few harmonies to the mix and brings in her falsetto for a solo section toward the end of the track, but other than that, she doesn't appear much in the song.

Martin talked to EW about how he decided the "Partition" singer should be a part of the song.

"She's all goodness," Martin said. "This album is about celebrating, and this angel figure kept popping up and I was thinking, 'Gosh, Beyoncé would be perfect, but she'd never do it.' One day, we were talking and I was trying to drop the hint, but I didn't want to be imprudent. And she said, 'I'll do it.'"

Additional guest artists to be featured on Coldplay's next album include a sample of President Barack Obama singing "Amazing Grace" at Clementa C. Pinckney's funeral and Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy.

"Hymn for the Weekend" can be streamed online now. Coldplay will release their seventh studio album, "A Head Full of Dreams" on Friday, Dec. 4. It is the follow-up to 2014's "Ghost Stories," which produced the singles "Magic," "Midnight," "A Sky Full of Stars," "True Love" and "Ink." This album topped the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, U.S. Top Rock Albums, U.S. Top Alternative Albums and U.K. Albums chart.
