There are many things that are going to go down in the next episode of "Hawaii Five-0" before the show enters its mid-season hiatus for the season. Suffice it to say that the season's biggest villain is about to make some new progress with the unit.

Episode 10, titled "Ka Makau Kaa Kaua," will finally be returning to broadcast network CBS this Friday, Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.

Although this series has been generally cast as episodic -- as opposed to serialized -- it is quite famous for bringing in major players from the outside each year to act as a threat to the main characters throughout the season. That is the case this year with Gabe; even though he hasn't been involved in all of their weekly cases, he has been in the storylines.

According to Spoilers Guide, the team will go up against a boxer from the mainland when the sport makes its way to the shores of O'Ahu. A promising young boxer, Luke Nakano (Lewis Tan), is the next in line to get a title shot against a foe, Devon Haynes (Harold House Moore), on the mainland. But the current titleholder for the belt is not too pleased with what's to come.

Hawaii's very own promising young boxer finds his brother murdered and when the Five-0 unit comes in to investigate, they soon start looking at the boxer's rivalries. It seems as though those rivalries have spilled outside of the ring and turned deadly on their home turf.

TV Guide also reports that the Season 6 big-bad Gabe is about to shake up the storylines and come back for fans just before the mid-season break. Fans can probably expect there to be a cliffhanger in store for them. The show will be back Friday, then go on break and return after the New Year.
