"Finding Dory," the sequel to the 2003 Pixar's hit animated film "Finding Nemo," may be one of the biggest films of 2016.

Forbes magazine noted why "Finding Dory" will be a huge success in theaters.

First, being a sequel to one of the most endearing films makes it a wise or even an automatic choice for moviegoers to see.The Academy Award-winning film for Best Animated Feature still ranks the highest in terms of revenues among non-sequel films produced by Pixar. The 2003 movie also ranks fourth among Disney's animated films released worldwide. Only "Frozen," "Toy Story 3" and "The Lion King" surpassed its tickets sales.

Second, the audience will be excited to see "Finding Dory" as it will already be 13 years after "Finding Nemo" was released. Despite the long time, it may even encourage the film viewers to seek and find out what's in store for them. Fans of the of the first movie may think, "If it took them a long time to follow the first movie, then should it not be worth the wait?"

Third, those children or teenagers who watched the 2003 movie may already be adults now with kids of their own, who also love the movie. They probably even shared the same happy feeling watching Marlin, Nemo and Dory overcome their fear and solve their problems in the end.

Fans get excited with the trailer

To prove that the magic of "Finding Nemo" will continue in "Finding Dory," one can see the reactions from viewers on YouTube when the teaser for the movie was uploaded on the site. The trailer shows the very forgetful but fun-loving and cheerful Dory trying to look for her own family.

They even created their own fan theories related to the movie.

A viewer named Zach Couch, wrote, " So I have a theory. What if her name is not Dory but it is her mom's. So that is why they are FINDING Dory. Because from this trailer it looks like they are with her the whole time."

Another user named Levi Battis gave her own prediction. "I think it's her daughters name. In the first one she was looking confused at first meet, like she was looking for someone. Maybe dory was the name of her daughter and the last thing she remembered at the time, so she helped find Nemo because the plan to find her daughter was the same," wrote Battis.

Viewers will find out soon if these theories match the plot of the movie. "Finding Dory" is slated for theatrical release in June 2016, Coming Soon noted.
