The divided idea on abortion between the Republicans and Democrats is long expected to rise in the upcoming debates of the 2016 U.S. presidential candidates.

According to Yahoo!, the said topic will be further highlighted on the senate race, where the opposing team on the topic of abortion is expected to be supported by the ongoing investigation on Planned Parenthood and the strict laws on anti-abortion in Texas. With the two parties having different stands on the issue, activists expect it to be a hot topic on the upcoming 2016 U.S. campaign.

Hillary Clinton, a known Democratic presidential candidate is pro-abortion. She has also openly expressed her support on Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides services on abortions, contraceptives and health screenings. Being a defender of the said issue, Clinton has been constantly on the spotlight whenever abortion is being raised. Her beliefs, as well as the rest of the Democratic Party, have been highly contradicted by the Republicans, where most of its candidates are opposed to the legality of abortion. Most of the GOPs or the Republicans have preferred the reversal of legalizing abortion under the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe V. Wade decision.

Senators Ted Cruz and Marc Rubio have expressed their desire to disallow the legalization of abortion, even if it is a case of rape or incest. However, in a statement made by Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY's list, she said, "We may very well have the most extreme Republican presidential nominee since Roe -- a nominee who's not in favor of abortion in any possible way." Female candidates who are opposed to the abortion must know how to defend their side, or else, they will be tackled with questions that could strip them of their beliefs, Marjorie Dannenfelser implied.

Planned Parenthood is one of the most popular organizations that supports and provides service for abortion, and it has been put on the spotlight following an investigation about its practices. Some anti-abortion activists went as far as exposing videos of some Planned Parenthood officials negotiating on the sale of fetal tissues.

This has since been denied by the organization, saying some of their clinics are entitled to release legal donation of fetal tissues.

What is your stand on the rising abortion cases? Do you believe that this will be discussed on some of the debates between the Republicans and Democrats?
