Beyoncé and Jay-Z are embarking on a 20-stadium tour throughout the United States starting in June, New York Post's Page Six reports.

Both Beyoncé and Jay-Z have always been known to be successful individually but their recent collaboration "Drunk in Love" was a huge hit, even if it was not their first collaboration. Furthermore, they have been performing on stage together at key events such as the Grammy Awards. They have built a reputation for performing together at these key events, but only on special occasions.

According to rumors, the couple may even be planning to perform in New York City on July 4. Jay-Z has a huge influence on the city after growing up in Brooklyn and formerly having owned part of the Brooklyn Nets. In addition, Jay-Z also is an agent and has represented several star athletes in New York. Another big determining factor in the possible New York performance would be the exact location. If it is indeed a stadium tour, it seems likely that the performance would be either at Citi Field or Yankee Stadium since it would be in the middle of the summer. Otherwise it would have been interesting to see them perform at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The couple has been taking a short break from tours after completing two separate adventures earlier this year. Jay-Z wrapped up 52 tour dates in January while Beyoncé is fresh off the Mrs. Carter tour that just finished last month.

What do you think about the upcoming tour? Will it be as great as some people might think or should they have just continued to pursue their careers individually? Feel free to let us know what you think in the comments located down below.
