Samsung is conquering the world of Apple, at least when it comes to collaboration on the latter's iOS and Samsung's smartwatches.

According to CNET, Samsung, on Tuesday, announced that its smartwatch product, particularly the Gear S2 watch, will soon be able to run on iOS software. The announcement was made during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which also drew some expected surprised reactions.

The announcement, however, did not reveal any other details about the subtle merger, but one thing is for sure, the Samsung smartwatches will not be exclusive to the company's own phone devices.

Samsung fans aren't the only ones rejoicing about the news, but Apple consumers too. The combination of the two will eventually enable Apple users to have more options when it comes to buying smartwatches. Some would actually welcome it because the Samsung smartwatch delivers a more enticing design than the current Apple smartwatch.

GSM Arena also reported some leaked information about the upcoming smartwatch, which includes the 18k rose gold variation of the wearable device. The other one is with a platinum color that look a bit more expensive than its previous versions.

According to the website, the latest Samsung wearable devices are expected to launch this February with no specific date given. Along with the rose gold and platinum variations are individual bands that significantly complement the said colors -- an ivory genuine leather for the rose gold color and a black genuine leather band for the platinum choice. Elegant as they may seem, there will be some versions of the Samsung smartwatches that will feature characters such as Peanuts and artworks from Keith Harring. Upcoming designers for Samsung will also include Jean-Michael Basquiat, Burton Morris and Jeremyville.

Asia PC Mag reported that the Samsung wearable is not the only item introduced by the company during the Consumer Electronics Show. There is also the Family Hub fridge that has more compelling idea than any other note-driven conventional fridge.

The 21.5-inch touchscreen fridge allows family members to leave notes through their smartphones. The fridge also holds a built-in camera that snaps what's inside whenever the door is closed. This innovation allows owners to look what's inside the fridge again through their smartphones without actually opening it.

What do you think about Samsung's collaboration with Apple? Are you looking forward to trying their new innovation on wearable devices?
