The presidential campaign for Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., released a new advertisement on Thursday featuring a glowing endorsement from "Pawn Stars" star Rick Harrison.

In the ad, the reality television personality and famed owner of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop explains why he believes Rubio is the "real deal."

"Over the past few years, people have tried to sell us some real doozies," said Harrison, as the ad jokingly cuts to two Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton bobblehead dolls. "But [Rubio] is really worth something."

Invoking the premise of his television series, in which Harrison must access the value of various antiques and artifacts people bring to his shop, the reality star calls Rubio a "good investment."

"When people see for themselves, I don't have to convince them it's a good investment," Harrison said. "I don't have to show them the value for their family. So when this guy walked into my shop, I knew he was the real deal."

Harrison announced his endorsement of Rubio last June, and has since been a strong and vocal supporter of the Republican presidential nominee.

In a December interview with Breitbart News, Harrison said he supported Rubio because the Florida senator is a "genuine guy" and, unlike Trump, didn't come from riches. Rubio's father was a bartender, while his mother worked as a maid in Las Vegas.

"I've never met him, he sounds like a good man and everything, but I still don't think he could relate to poor people in this country," said Harrison of Trump, who he says has known wealth all his life.

That said, Harrison said he would support Trump over Clinton if need be.

"I think Trump would do a lot better job than Hillary ever would. I think anybody would. My 14-year-old daughter would," he said.

The advertisement will run in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina -- states in which Trump is currently leading against Rubio.
